Build My Future – Klamath Falls

Build My Future is a new event that aims to help youth get in touch with the construction and other trade industries. The Klamath Basin HBA hosted a local version of this event that originated in Springfield, Missouri. Schools from Klamath, Lake, Deschutes, Siskiyou and Modoc Counties have been invited and officials are enthusiastic to help get the students to this event.

Virtual Build My Future in 2020
With the restrictions in 2020 on events, the HBA contacted local school districts to see if we should skip the event this year. The districts were excited to see the HBA keep Build My Future moving forward. In a partnership with Southern Oregon Education Service District (SOESD), Oregon Connections/Nepris and the presenting partners below we are bringing a virtual Build My Future in weekly presentations between October 14 and November 20.

Almost 300 students from 12 schools in three counties and two states and 30 demonstrators participated in the inaugural event.
